Project history
This project was original because of the nature of the required renovations: the creation of open workspaces and collaborative zones that would enable the tenant to implement a new (Agile) project planning and delivery method.
With the requirements of openness and collaborative workspaces in mind, we installed unconventional elements such as unique woodwork, conceptual wood towers and IDEA Paint, which allows employees to write on the walls.

This mandate presented us with several significant challenges. Unusual elements such as acid-etched frosted glass and unique woodwork resulted in extended delivery times. In addition, access to the worksite was restricted due to contractual requirements at Place Ville Marie and traffic in the area. Work was also carried out next to occupied offices.

Challenges
  • Creating open spaces and collaboration areas adapted to unconventional work processes.
  • Designing offices using innovative materials.
  • Working in a busy building alongside occupied offices.
  • Managing material deliveries in a restricted area.
