Le Saint-Sulpice Hotel
In 2012, QMD was selected to renovate all 108 suites in the Saint-Sulpice Hotel in Old Montreal. This mandate involved completely revamping the hotel’s interior decor (wallpaper, paintings, woodwork), upgrading the lighting and replacing furniture (chairs, armchairs, nightstands, lamps, beds and accessories).
The fact that the hotel is located in a densely-populated area made the site access and materials delivery complicated. Furthermore, the works were carried out during a peak season when the Saint-Sulpice Hotel was occupied. Thanks to our experience in hotel renovation projects, we ensured that the works being carried out did not detract from the guest experience. We planned every step and divided up the works into 10 phases in order to limit noise and dust pollution.
We succeeded in delivering the project within the established timeline so our client was very satisfied with the result. The Saint-Sulpice Hotel subsequently contracted QMD to renovate the hotel’s bathrooms and kitchenettes.
