Restoration of brickwork and windows Faculty of Arts, McGill University

Entreprises QMD was selected to carry out repair and restoration work in the Arts Building which was constructed in 1839. This exceptional heritage building showed considerable deterioration so the QMD teams employed advanced cleaning techniques to avoid damaging the brickwork.

While the works were ongoing, the client decided that, instead of replacing the windows, they would be restored and made more energy efficient. QMD succeeded in meeting all of the client’s expectations and the splendid building has been restored to its former glory.
