Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel
In 2015, Urbacon QMD renovated the reception areas of the Sheraton Centre, a luxurious hotel in downtown Toronto. Our mission included renovating the hotel’s main entrance hall, smaller halls and spacious reception areas. The largest ballroom measures 20,214 sq. ft. and can hold up to 2,300 guests.
We renovated the flooring, wall coverings and adjacent washrooms and ensured that the finishings matched the woodwork and large chandeliers in this elegant location. Moreover, we completely redesigned the spaces and installed portable partitions so that room sizes could be modified as required. The hotel now offers almost 60 different meeting areas.
We also set up an adapted audiovisual system that broadcasts sound, music and images as well as track lighting that one would see in a concert arena. As a result, the reception areas can now be used for a wide range of events such as conventions, seminars, benefit galas, weddings and much more.
All of this work was carried out in a very busy location and completed in a record 80 days. We staggered the projects and delivered on time so our client was very happy with the result.
