Solstice Tower Montreal: opening of the sales office
On November 7, the sales office for the SolsticeTower Montreal project opened. QMD was involved in this monumental residential project as a developer within the QMD-Ménard consortium and as a construction manager.
This 147-meter building boasts 44 storeys and is the latest in a series of downtown skyscrapers beside the Bell Centre that includes the Tours des Canadiens buildings, L’Avenue, Roccabella and Centracondos. The SolsticeTower will offer a breathtaking view of Montreal and surrounding areas thanks to the ingenious design of NEUF Architectes. Six corner apartments instead of four create optimized, light-filled and airy spaces.
The tower will contain 330 luxurious housing units of various sizes from studios and one, two and three-bedroom condos to penthouses. The fixtures in both the apartments and shared areas will be designed with care to include elegant and inviting materials like oak, Montreal greystone and copper.
The SolsticeTower will also offer residents a range of exceptional amenities: a five-level underground parking lot, a business centre for meetings, an aquatic area inspired by Nordic spas, gyms and yoga studios, an owners’ lounge, a private cellar, and an exclusive tasting room.
A 5,000-square-foot commercial space on the ground floor will link to a walkway. This pedestrian walkway, flanked by dramatic columns, will link Avenue des Canadiens and Overdale Street, which is a stone’s throw from Lucien-L’Allier metro station.
Following the renovation of the Rockhill Apartment Complex and the construction of Phases2 and 3 of the Mùv and Lum Pur projects, this ambitious construction provided QMD with another opportunity to showcase its expertise in residential towers.
