Solstice Tower Montreal
This tower is the latest in a series of downtown skyscrapers beside the Bell Centre that include the Tours des Canadiens buildings, L’Avenue and Roccabella. The Solstice Tower will contain 330 luxurious condos of various sizes from studios and one, two and three-bedroom units to penthouses. The condos will offer a breathtaking view of Montreal. Six corner apartments instead of four create optimized, light-filled and airy spaces.
The fixtures in both the apartments and shared areas will be designed with care to include elegant and inviting materials like oak, Montreal greystone and copper. The Solstice Tower will also offer residents a range of exceptional amenities: a five-level underground parking lot, a business centre for meetings, an aquatic area inspired by Nordic spas, gyms and yoga studios, an owners’ lounge, a private cellar, and an exclusive tasting room.
A 5,000-square-foot commercial space on the ground floor will link to a walkway. This pedestrian walkway, flanked by dramatic columns, will link Avenue des Canadiens and Overdale Street, which is a stone’s throw from Lucien-L’Allier metro station.
This project will present one major challenge for QMD: the complex works will be carried out in a busy, densely-populated area so noise must be limited so as not to disturb business owners and residents in the neighbourhood. This will be particularly challenging because of the presence of another nearby construction site.
