Lum Pur Fleuve complex
In 2017, QMD embarked on the development of a monumental and ambitious residential project, the Lum Pur Fleuve complex on the banks of the Saint Lawrence River in Brossard. This real-estate complex, currently under construction, offers an exceptional living environment thanks to its prime location beside businesses, amenities and leisure centres. The complex boasts light architecture and clean lines. It complements the landscape, uniting urban and country living, and offers a breathtaking view of the river, the new Champlain Bridge and Montreal. The Lum Pur Fleuve residents enjoy elegant and refined interiors, large windows, huge outdoors spaces and an exceptional quality of life.
The spectacular complex is made up of three 15-storey towers with brick and aluminum siding that all overlook an expansive pond. The 234 units in 3 successive phases are available for purchase or for rent.
The Lum Pur Fleuve project presented QMD with several major architectural challenges which we overcame in collaboration with our partners. In order to dig foundations on the shores of the river and beside rocky land, we propped up the structure with a system of retaining walls. This wood and metal structure allowed us to create a two-level underground parking lot with 15-foot ceilings that support the multi-level towers.
