Project history
In 2017, QMD was chosen to complete Phase 2 of the Mùv project. The building stands out because of its modern, elegant architecture designed by Lupien + Matteau.
The brick and stone building is composed of several sections surrounding landscaped areas. Thanks to its all-concrete structure, the building is fully soundproofed and insulated.

Residents of Mùv Phases 1 and 2 have access to exceptional facilities: an urban chalet, vegetable gardens, an indoor swimming pool and a gym with a wide variety of equipment. A shared rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of downtown Montreal.

The apartments have been designed to optimize space, and the large windows and sense of space make them unique. The 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments all feature 9-foot ceilings, and the largest apartments measure 1,958 square feet.

QMD is proud to have developed this prestigious project, which presented many technical and architectural challenges. Most importantly, we are committed to ensuring that Mùv Phase 2 complements the existing building and complies with the neighbourhood’s urban planning standards.

Challenges
  • Construct a 10-storey, all-concrete building with 148 units.
  • Carry out work right next to Phase 1, already occupied, without disturbing the neighborhood.
  • Harmonize Phase 2 with the existing building.
  • Work in a densely populated area with limited space for site installations and deliveries.
